Problem:

Litter and overall unsightly rubbish have major impacts on our island. Illegal dumping spreads little fire ants, invasive weeds, etc.

Many vehicles, appliances, household waste are dumped with no regard.

Solution:

Respond to individual reports and clean areas of illegal dumping. Cooperate with state and local agencies to conduct cleanups.

Investigate areas of illegal dumping, setting up cameras etc. and report to the police for prosecution. Pressure politicians to increase penalties.

Adopt highways and roadways to further decrease the spread of invasives and limit the degradation of Hawaii and its beauty.
