Although the initial action involves eradicating invasive species, the subsequent and arguably more crucial step involves replacing them with indigenous flora and shrubs. This approach not only reduces the risk of invasive species returning but also enhances the ecological balance of the region while promoting soil retention.

Solution:

Grow natives and promote native shrubs and trees to nurseries.

Plant native trees and shrubs such as wiliwili, kukui, ohia, koa, hala, naupaka, coconut and more.
